A chance to get onto the street to enjoy food, fun, and products from local merchants is on the calendar.
The West Orange Street Fair 2023 takes place in downtown West Orange, less than five miles from Livingston. The fair gives attendees a chance to support businesses in the local area by purchasing products from local stores, or stopping in for a meal.
When it comes to dining, West Orange has a selection of more than 40 coffee shops, bakeries, and restaurants which, among them, represent cuisines from every corner of the world. Among the eateries visitors can enjoy are Willow & Olivia, a dessert café; and Restaurant La Pupusa Loca, which serves cuisine from Honduras and El Salvador. The former eatery even claims it has fairies on the premises.
Health and beauty providers include barbershops, nail salons, and beauty shops. Specialty stores include Bijou Hair Braiding which creates beautiful, braided styles; and Lash District, which does lash extensions as well as brow services and full-body waxing.
In the “Shops and Services” category, visitors will find stores that range from hardware to florists to formalwear, all to meet professional and personal needs of visitors.
The Street Fair is scheduled for Saturday, June 3, from 11:00 am until 5:00 pm. Organizers of events of this type could use flyer printing to create handouts listing the location of participating shops.
