The Livingston Public Library will be hosting a special musical performance next month.
The Kootz, a rock and roll band from New Jersey, that specializes in blues, pop, rock, and soul music will be coming to the library. The group started in the late 1990s with six members and now has many more. Many different types of venues have featured the group, such as festivals, biker bars, rock clubs, and coffee houses. The group considers their music to be “rock and roll with fiber.”
The Friends of the Livingston Public Library are sponsoring the performance as part of their series on Music Matters. The concert is open to those of all ages who enjoy music and will be at 2:00 pm on Sunday, April 5.
Such concerts and other events at libraries are often made known to the public and promoted through poster printing.
The library will also be holding a book discussion for adults on a book about the life of Mrs. Winston Churchill by Sonia Purnell later in the month. This event is open to all those who are interested in the topic, regardless of whether they have the book. This will be held on Friday, April 10 from 12:45 to 1:45 pm.
There is no charge for either event, and registration is not required.
