New car repair shop opens in Livingston
Advance Auto Parts (AAP) is now opened in Livingston on Mount Pleasant Avenue.
A leading retailer of aftermarket parts, AAP is celebrating its grand opening with a donation of gift cards worth $2,500 to the Livingston Police Department. These gift cards will be issued by the police instead of equipment citations to encourage motorists to get their vehicle repaired. The gifts cards will be randomly distributed by the Livingston Police Department to motorists who can redeem the cards at any one of AAP’s retail stores in the state or online. Materials created by local print shops can be used by such departments to provide such gifts cards to customers.
District manager for AAP, Bob Raywood, and general manager at the Livingston store, Joe Gonzalez, have been welcomed by the Livingston Area Chamber of Commerce, Livingston Business Improvement District, and the township council to the town. Mayor Shawn Klein expressed his support for AAP and wishes for the success of the business on the part of the council as their success means that the entire town is successful.
Vice president of operations at AAP, Alex Busse, expressed the company’s excitement about being able to give back to the community by collaborating with the Police Department in promoting vehicle safety. He added that their team is looking forward to serving customers with speed and care and providing for everyone’s automotive needs.
