Local bank named business of the year

The West Orange branch of the Regal Bank headquartered in Livingston has been named the West Orange 2016 Business of the Year by the West Orange Chamber of Commerce.

Since the branch opened in September 2013, the Chamber credits the branch with being active by focusing on collaboration among businesses, participating in generous sponsorships and maintaining ongoing involvement in service organizations.

Branch Manager, Tina Parsons, commented that the branch is proud to receive this prominent recognition. Township historian and local author, Joseph Fagan, has said that West Orange is committed to using awareness to preserve its history. Parsons added that this honor will enable the Regal Bank to become an important part of the history of West Orange.

President and chief executive officer of Regal Bank, Thomas Lupo, added that this is a special achievement for the bank as it shows how dedicated it is to the community, and emphasizes the bank’s goal of building meaningful relationships with the community of West Orange.

The Chamber will be holding an awards dinner at the Crestmont Country Club tomorrow, May 18, at which the bank will receive its award.

The bank might benefit from the assistance of a local Print company to advertise its achievements by means of Banners and Posters displayed not only at the West Orange branch, but also at the eight other branches and at the headquarters in Livingston.
