Livingston plans full day of fun

Livingston is celebrating the 4th of July with food trucks, rides, live music, an auto fest, and more.

Unlike many other communities, Livingston will hold its 88th Annual 4th of July Celebration on the day itself. The day begins with the 32nd Annual Auto Fest, which runs from 9.00 am until 3.00 pm in the parking lot at Livingston High School.

From 12.30 pm until 8.00 pm, the Oval will provide room for various inflatables, rides, a zip line, and other family-friendly activities. Wristbands are available for unlimited rides for $20 before the event, or $25 on the 4th.

People will be able to relax in the beer garden and enjoy live music from 3.30 pm until 7.30 pm. The beer garden will be set up on the Oval. More music is on the way on the Main Stage, courtesy of Winslow: An Evening of the Eagles, a tribute band for the iconic American group. They will play beginning at 7.30 pm.

Winslow comprises experienced musicians who have a great appreciation for the Eagles and their music and recreate their live performances including hits like “Take It Easy” and “Hotel California.”

The day winds up with a fireworks spectacular which will be synchronized with music. The fireworks will take place on the Oval. The show is new this year.

When they plan events like this, organizers can work with banner printing to create themed decorations that embody the holiday theme.
