Livingston bank holds event to support local animal shelter

This month, the Livingston Dog Pawrade will be held for the 10th consecutive year by Regal Bank.

The bank considers this event to be family-oriented. Dogs who are well-socialized are encouraged to wear their best costume for Halloween. There will be prizes awarded to recognize the largest dog, smallest dog, and the dog with the best costume. Winners in each category will receive a bag of goodies for the dog, as well as a trophy.

Those families who wish to participate in the event can register at any branch of Regal Bank. The cost is $10 for the first dog and any additional dogs in a family are $5 each. Proceeds of the event go towards benefiting the Livingston Animal Shelter.

Chair of the animal shelter, Alan Karpas, commented that Regal Bank has set aside this time once again to show its support for the shelter and the animals. He added that the shelter is grateful for the bank’s efforts and the people who attend the event, and it helps the shelter remain open and continue to find permanent homes for its animals in need.

The Pawrade will be held in the parking lot of the bank in Livingston from 10:30 am to noon on Sunday, September 23. Events like this often use flyer printing to promote themselves and their fundraising efforts.
