Livingston is getting ready to celebrate the 4th of July with a wide range of activities.
It kicks off at 9:00 am, when the Annual Autofest opens. This is the 30th year for the display, which is the largest Independence Day auto show held in the state. It runs until 3:00 pm, and the location is the Livingston High School parking lot.
Children’s activities will also take place in the parking lot during the same time frame. The planned events are an obstacle course, pony rides, rolling video games, inflatable slides, spin art, face painting, an ice cream eating contest, the Hocus Pocus: Magic Show, and a Kiwanis Swim Carnival.
On the Oval, festival attendees will find a vendor market, 20 gourmet food trucks, a beer garden, and a hatchet throwing game. These activities begin at noon and are open until 7:00 pm. At 7:30 pm on the Main Stage on the Oval, the Real Diamond Band will perform. They are an 11-piece tribute band to Neil Diamond, starring Curtis Di Domizio, who has performed with Neil Diamond on stage. Real Diamond has been performing since 2008.
The finale of the day is a fireworks display, also on the Oval, set for 9:00 pm.
The city is celebrating on July 4 itself, for the entire day. Banners are attractive and can be used to decorate events like this. They are easy to create using banner printing companies.
