Livingston will soon be home to a new Fit 36, with completion of construction expected by the end of this month.
Adam Selman, owner of the facility, commented that he is excited about offering his unique approach to High-Intensity Interval Training to the community of Livingston. He added that Livingston is a flourishing community and one where he feels his new venture can have a positive effect on many people.
His approach is to produce elite-level results in 36 minutes or less. There are 12-station circuits in a typical workout and these focus on stamina, athleticism, and strength. Classes consist of 24 people and led a certified personal trainer to ensure proper technique, improve efficiency, and provide personalized attention.
Each person in the class also has a heart-rate monitor which enables each person’s heart rate to be displayed on a screen during the workout so that the trainer and the individual can maximize the workout and monitor progress. Selman said the heart rate monitors help to motivate clients. Clients are encouraged to use them for other aerobic exercise so the facility can gather data about how their clients are training and how often.
Selman might benefit from the assistance of a local printing company to promote his new facility by creating Flyers and other materials with more information about his approach to fitness.
