Eastman companies recognized for animal philanthropy efforts

The Eastman Companies were recently noted by members of the Friends of the Livingston Animal Shelter at the Livingston Township Council meeting for their continued support of the facility.

A real estate management, development, and construction company that oversees the Shoppes at the Livingston Circle, Eastman Companies recently hosted the Livingston Pet Adoption Expo for the third consecutive year. Local animal shelters, including the Friends of the Livingston Animal Shelter, and rescue facilities received $550 as a result of the event, and nine dogs and cats found permanent homes.

The outgoing chairman of the committee commented that Eastman not only has a high profile in town, but is one the best neighbors to have due to their many contributions to the community. He added that they have a sense of what the community needs, reach out to the community, and are very generous with their assets. They also work to get people in the community to believe that it is worth their time to support many of the local endeavors, he stressed.

The managing partner of Eastman, Peter Schofel, thanked the council, the mayor, and the members of Friends for recognizing the company’s accomplishments and dedication over the years.

Animal shelters can benefit from the assistance of a local printing company to promote their efforts in finding homes for rescue cats and dogs, perhaps with Flyers and other printed materials.
