Diverse activities to be hosted Livingston public library

The Livingston Public Library will be holding two special events next month.

The first will be a workshop on how to develop a successful business plan presented by Paul Dzera, a business mentor and Treasurer of Chapter 13 of SCORE in Newark. SCORE is a nationwide organization that provides business education and mentoring, and partners with the United States Small Business Administration to provide resources for businesses. Printing services are often used for such resources.

He will discuss how to outline the challenges and issues a company faces, a company’s strategic plan, the markets and industry in which a company participates, and actual and forecasted financial outcomes.

The workshop will be on Monday, December 9 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm.

The last program of the Senior Happening series for 2019 will take place later that week. The Synergismus Duo, comprising Millie and Randy Calistri-Yeh, will be the featured performers. They are billed as the leading cello and violin duo in the north of the state.

The Senior Happening series is a program held once a month. Attendees socialize before the start of the program with a brown bag lunch while volunteers from the Friends of the Library serve up desserts.

This event will take place on the afternoon of Friday, December 13 from 1:00 until 2:00 pm.
