Paper Mill Playhouse in Millburn will be collaborating with the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra (NJSO) to produce a three-part series of virtual performances beginning in January.
These performances will be sponsored by PNC Bank, New Jersey Central Power and Light, and the First Energy Foundation. Residents of Livingston may be interested in such live online shows, the likes of which are often promoted with poster printing.
Producing Artistic Director of the Paper Mill Playhouse, Mark Hoebee, expressed his thrill to be working with the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra. He added that he believes audiences will enjoy the discovery and beauty of two preeminent cultural organizations in the state, which come from entirely different disciplines but work together on these productions.
Rema Webb, a veteran of Paper Mill and Broadway, will be featured along with string musicians from the NJSO in a performance of “You’ll Never Walk Alone” by Rodgers and Hammerstein. The event will be free and available via the NJSO YouTube channel and other social media channels of the NJSO. It will also be available on demand after the premiere.
The Paper Mill Playhouse is the largest producing theater in New Jersey and offers its events and shows to 21 counties and the metropolitan area of New York City. The first performance will take place at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, January 5, 2021.
