The Men’s Club of Temple Beth Shalom in Livingston will be hosting a Comedy Night in January. Featured on Comedy Night will be Michael Somerville, Ophira Eisenberg, and Matthew Broussard.
Such events are often promoted throughout a community using poster printing and other types of printed material.
Somerville is a writer, television host, advice guru, and comedian. He has performed stand-up comedy on the David Letterman Show and has hosted shows for Encore, Starz, and Nickelodeon. Eisenberg is host of Ask Me Another, a game show on NPR. Among her television credits are The Today Show, VH-1, Comedy Central, and Highly Recommended Favorite. Her memoir will be coming out soon. Broussard is in the winner of Houston’s Funniest Person. His television credits include two seasons of Jeff Ross’s Roast Battle, The League, Adam Devine’s House Party, and Comedy Knockout.
Tickets are $30 and can be purchased online, while the cost of tickets at the door will be $40. Proceeds of the event go towards supporting and including people of all abilities in their communal lives. Comedy Night will take place on Saturday, January 4 from 9:00 to 11:15 pm at Temple Beth Shalom on Mount Pleasant Avenue in Livingston.
