Celebration of summer in Livingston

Warmer weather signals outdoor fun, and Livingston is getting ready to welcome summer in style.

The Livingston Police Benevolent Association and the Livingston Rotary Club are the hosts for the upcoming Livingston Summerfest Food Truck and Music Festival. The full-day event is open to everyone and has many attractions especially for children.

There will be about 20 food trucks on hand serving a variety of meals, a wine and beer garden, and many additional vendors. Youngsters will be able to enjoy a special area just for them with a petting zoo, along with free inflatable rides.

Live entertainment is a big part of the day, with a magician, dancers, and several bands scheduled to perform. The entertainment begins with magic, as a professional magician will perform from 11:30 until 12:15 pm.

From 12:30 pm until 1:15 pm, Amanda’s Dancextensions will be onstage, followed by Higher Ground, from 1:30 pm until 2:45 pm, Rhythm & Rock from 3:00 pm until 4:15 pm, and 4 Flight Rock from 4:30 pm until 6:00 pm. Higher Ground is a cover band playing country, gospel, blues, and rock, while 4 Flight Rock is a four-member rock band from New Jersey covering many fondly remembered 1960s and 1970s bands.

Summerfest is scheduled for June 12, from 11:00 am until 6:00 pm, on the Livingston Oval. Organizers of outdoor events like this can use banner printing to provide durable signage to help attendees find specific vendors.
