Celebrating women in Livingston

A gala is coming up to honor two women who have made a significant difference to their community. Organizations and institutions that run events of this nature may use brochure printing to create programs for attendees to enjoy before and during events.

The Women of New Jersey Legends Gala is an event to honor special women. In this case, the honors go to the Griotte Sisters, the so-called “eyes and ears of the community.” The service organization known as the Women of New Jersey, Inc., comprises professional women whose main mission is to recognize and help support students who have demonstrated learning differences, but who have also gone on to show commitment to and perseverance in achievement.

The women’s organization provides financial support to these students as they go on to post-secondary institutions, with the goal of furthering their education. Support for these students comes from the Women of New Jersey Student Aid Fund, and the goal of the organization is to increase the size of the candidate pool of these students so they can be prepared to succeed in a global society.

As mentioned, the Griotte Sisters are the honorees, and the organization is pleased to announce that Sheila Y. Oliver, the Lieutenant Governor of New Jersey, will host the event.

The Legends Gala is scheduled for March 4, at 7.00 pm, at the Cedar Hill Country Club at 100 Walnut Street in Livingston. Proceeds from the gala go to support the Student Aid Fund.
