Boutique clothing store opens new branch in Livingston

A grand opening celebration was recently held by Mixology Clothing Company for the opening of its new shop at the Livingston Town Center.

The commemorative red ribbon was cut by Mayor Ed Meinhardt, with other attendees at the ceremony including members of the Livingston Chamber of Commerce and Town Council.

Mixology is a boutique clothing shop offering designer brands with affordable prices. Jordan Edwards, chief executive officer of the shop, which is headquartered on Long Island, said the boutique has been looking at locating another shop in Livingston for several years.

Edwards added that the company needed to grow sufficiently so it could support a location in New Jersey from its headquarters on Long Island. The distribution center is now large enough, with the requisite number of drivers, so that a location in New Jersey can now be supported. He always knew there was a customer base in New Jersey, so the company has been able to branch out to other locations in New York and New Jersey, and now in Livingston.

Edwards added that not only is Livingston a central location, but that it has the ideal target base for his company’s offerings.
