An awards banquet hosted by an unusual organization is scheduled to take place in Freehold. The event is also a fundraiser.
The Standardbred Pleasure Horse Organization of New Jersey (SPHO-NJ) will take over the Crystal Ballroom in Freehold to hold their annual Awards Banquet and Fundraiser. The evening comprises an open bar for the duration of the event, dinner, dancing to the tunes spun by a DJ, raffles, and a presentation of awards. Some of the monies raised during the evening will to support the 2022 National Standardbred Horse Show. Banner printing is frequently used to create decorations for this type of event.
The SPHO-NJ, which is a non-profit organization, was organized to promote the Standardbred horse for both driving and riding. They fulfill this mission by holding equine events to introduce members of the public to these animals. Activities include dressage, trail riding, jumping, hunting, driving, western pleasure or other events, all of which demonstrate the versatility of the breed. They also provide information on shows, exhibitions, and parades in which they participate.
Membership in the SPHO-NJ is open to people everywhere, even if they are not horse owners. Monthly meetings are held where members receive updates on news, events, and more. The organization’s main event is the National Standardbred Horse Show, which is held every August, and is supported by this banquet.
The event is scheduled for February 20 from 5.00 pm until 11.00 pm.
