Fun and flavor comes to Freehold

Food trucks have undergone a major image change in recent years, and these popular eateries will get together in Freehold next month.

The city is the site of the upcoming United for Impact Food Truck Festival, which will benefit The United Way of Monmouth and Ocean Counties. The event will offer beer, food, and live entertainment. The music will be provided by two popular groups – the Eddie Testa Band, and the Joe Baracata Band.

Eddie Testa’s outfit is known throughout the area as one of the Jersey Shore’s most popular party bands, offering dance music, R&B, soul, rock, and more.

The Joe Baracata Band is another popular Jersey outfit. Its setlist includes ballads like “Fly Me to the Moon” by Frank Sinatra, and rock classics such as Whitesnake’s “Here I Go Again.”

The United Way of Monmouth and Ocean Counties (UWMOC) has partnered with DowntownFreehold.com to organize the event. UWMOC will use the funds raised at the event to support its work in the local community, raising awareness of its efforts to bridge the gaps between community members and resources that support health, financial stability, and education.

The festival, which will be held no matter what the weather is, is scheduled for Sunday, April 26 from 12:00 pm until 4:00 pm, on West Main Street in Downtown Freehold. Posters, which event organizers can find at Print shops, are perfect for advertising events like this.
