An upcoming event in Freehold will have foodies celebrating.
The Jersey Shore Chefs are hosting Winterfest 2026, a fundraiser to support students taking culinary education courses. Culinary, pastry, and baking students will be serving an array of hors d’oeuvres to those attending the event. Organizers stress that only hors d’oeuvres will be served, prepared by students specifically in the food service, pastry, baking, and culinary fields. The evening will give them a chance to highlight their professionalism and creativity in a real-world setting.
The Jersey Shore Chefs Association is a non-profit organization, and Winterfest is their annual fundraiser. It celebrates the dedication and talent of the next generation of New Jersey’s professional culinary experts. Money raised at this event will go to support the Victor J. Houston Scholarship, as well as other charitable and educational programs run by the Chefs Association during the year.
The Jersey Shore Chefs are a chapter of the American Culinary Federation. Professionals in Ocean and Monmouth counties founded the chapter in 1991 to exchange the exchange of ideas, information, and problems and their solutions.
The fun is scheduled for 6.00 pm until 9.00 pm on March 9, at Freehold Boro Regional High School, 2 Robertsville Road in Freehold. Ticket sales are final, and guests must have a printed ticket to enter. When they plan events like this, organizers should consider using flyer printing to create a menu for attendees.
