The Downtown Freehold Fall Concert Series features both local talent and well-known groups, a mix that attracts audiences from Freehold and the entire area. The upcoming concert will feature the NRG Trio.
The group is an acoustic trio who have been together for over 20 years. The artists are professional, lifelong musicians; Dan Palladino on vocals and guitar, Tony DeFabritus on vocals and keyboards, and Lee Ottman on vocals and guitar. They play over 200 gigs annually, mostly private events, but they also perform public concerts, such as the one coming up in Freehold. They have appeared at venues through Central and North New Jersey, along with Rockland and Westchester Counties.
The group members are comfortable playing any genre of music, from country, Blues, pop, and rock, to the latest hits. The setlist includes music from the 1960s through the present day, as well as standards. Audiences might hear Beatles’ such as “Hey Jude,” or “Purple Rain” by Prince, or a standard like The Drifters’ “Under the Boardwalk.” A review says:
"Want to say what an amazing trio these guys are. . . . all I can say is WOW!!”
The concert is scheduled for September 10, from 7.30 pm until 9.30 pm at the Hall of Records in Freehold. When they plan events like this, organizers can promote them with Posters they have created at Print shops.
