Fun and food trucks in Freehold

An upcoming event in Freehold will raise money and provide food and entertainment at the same time.

Freehold will be the site of the United for Impact Food Truck Festival, which is held to support the United Way of Monmouth & Ocean Counties. Trucks will gather on West Main Street, between Throckmorton and Court.

Live music for the event will be provided by The Eddie Testa Band, The Break Plans, and The Joe Baracata Band. The Eddie Testa Band is a party band from the Jersey Shore playing R&B, soul, rock, and dance numbers. They have played in popular venues throughout the region.

The Break Plans are an alt-rock outfit based in New Jersey. They appeared in 2018, offering a unique blend of post-punk and indie pop featuring soulful lyrics, catchy choruses, and joyful melodies, inspired by artists as wide-ranging as Coldplay, Boston, and The Beatles.

The Joe Baracata Band has been together for over 20 years, frequently appearing at weddings and other special events. They have won the Couple’s Choice Award from WeddingWire for the last seven consecutive years.

The United Way is a global network of more than 1,800 local fundraising organizations. It collects funds and distributes them to such non-profits as the American Cancer Society and The Salvation Army.

The festival is scheduled for April 30, from 12:00 pm until 4:00 pm. Organizers of outdoor events like this can use banner printing to create decorations.
