Freehold fun comes in full color

An exceptionally colorful event is coming up in Freehold.

For the first time ever, Freehold will be holding a color run, which is being hosted by the Freehold High School Senior Class. The run is a 5K, but it is family friendly, and no one needs to run if they would rather walk. The day is really a celebration of the community, and the seniors are encouraging everyone to come out and enjoy themselves.

After the race, there will be games, food trucks, vendors, and a live DJ. Everyone is welcome to come and help support local businesses, and local business owners are encouraged to apply to be sponsors or vendors.

This event is similar to the increasingly popular Holi color runs based on the Indian celebration that welcomes spring, life, and love. Organizers of events like this can turn to poster printing to create vibrant advertising to bring people to the run.

The event is set for Saturday, May 20 with the run starting at 10.00 am. Those who buy tickets online as soon as possible will receive a T-shirt. However, those who would prefer to be there just for the carnival and the post-race fun are welcome to attend for free. They should plan to arrive at 11.30 am. Parking is available in the parking lot of the high school or on the street.
