Comedian duo returns to Freehold

Two comedians who have made a big impression on fans are returning for another round.

Monmouth Mouths Comedy Night 2 stars Joseph Anthony, aka “The Truth,” and Chris Covert, the Jersey Joker. They’ll have audiences rolling on the floor at the Majestic Ballroom on Main Street in Freehold.

The show promises to be full of irreverent humor, song parodies, and subject matter that is true to life and which will have attendees giggling for days. Joseph Anthony was a finalist in Last Comic Standing, and Chris Covert is known as the “King of the Dirty Ditties.” There is also a special guest who is yet to be determined.

Joseph Anthony began doing stand-up in 1989. He has appeared in film and on television, and excels at improvisation. A New York native, he now lives in New Jersey finds humor in everyday situations.

Chris Covert began his career at age 15, and incorporates his talent for music into his routines, presenting both parody songs and original musical material. Chris has worked in clubs from Las Vegas to New York.

The show is scheduled for January 12th from 7.00 pm until 11.00 pm. The ballroom is in the American Hotel, which has a two-item minimum for each person attending the show, which includes beverages and food. The show is for adult audiences only, as there are likely to be some racy songs and jokes. When events like this are planned, organizers can use poster printing to create advertising for them.
