The community of Flemington is currently undergoing an effort to revive its downtown core, and as part of this, it will be getting a new brand.
The Flemington Business Improvement District (BID) felt that the town, which is the county seat, needed an identity that was unique, and it called on Roger Brooks to help due to his expertise in community branding.
According to Megan Jones-Holt, who is the BID executive director, the goal is to set Flemington apart from the other communities in the area, and to send the message to potential visitors, residents, and business owners alike that it is a place they want to be.
Brooks has done this for Rapid City in South Dakota, York in Pennsylvania, and Walnut Creek in California. He recently hosted two workshops for residents of the area to learn more about the process of branding. Private citizens and business owners were invited to attend to gather information and share some of their own input.
Once the project is complete, printing companies will be able to include the new ideas on all the items they produce for the town, from digital Business Cards for its officials and staff to Banners, and flags
The actual process of developing the brand will take place over 13 steps, and a Brand Development Committee consisting of 14 members has been stood up to take responsibility for the project.Get a Free Quote for Business Cards Get a Free Quote for Banners
