Winter fun near Londonderry

A special family-friendly afternoon is planned in Derry, a short distance from Londonderry.

WinterFest features musician Steve Blunt, who will perform interactive songs for children. Story time and hands-on crafting will be presented by the Derry Public Library, and Audubon Society representatives will be on hand with Winter animal activities.

Steve Blunt is a storyteller/singer from New Hampshire who has performed in concert halls, libraries, and schools throughout the region. His kid-friendly tunes, which he began writing in the 1990s, and his upbeat style are appreciated by his young audiences. Blunt has done extensive work with the “Kids, Books & The Arts” program of the New Hampshire State Library, and is a New Hampshire Humanities council presenter.

The WinterFest Family Bash is recommended for people of all ages, babies and youngsters are welcome. Ticketing is being handled electronically, and tickets will be emailed as soon as the purchase is complete. Sales are final and no refunds will be offered. The tickets are good only for this event, but may be transferred to someone other than the original buyer.

The Bash will be held January 15 at the LaBelle Winery in Derry, in the Vineyard Ballroom, from 3:00 pm until 5:30 pm. Steve Blunt will perform at 3:00 pm and again at 4:30 pm. Organizers of these types of events can use flyer printing to create handouts to advertise in the local area.
