An upcoming event will use music to raise funds for a local organization.
A fundraiser benefiting the Friends of Londonderry Hockey (FOLH) is scheduled to take place at the Tupelo Music Hall in Derry, a very short distance from Londonderry.
The FOLH Dueling Pianos Fundraiser promises to be a great evening of music and fun. The event begins with a silent auction with a variety of items that will encourage people to bid. Organizers of the event still have room for people to donate items for the auction, and sponsorships are available. They can also help promote events like this using poster printing methods.
The artists who will take part are Ricky Lauria, and Davina Yanetty. Lauria is based in Lowell, Massachusetts, and is a vocalist, pianist, and an audience favorite. He is known for his quick wit and beautiful voice, and has appeared with some of New England’s top performers. He now runs the Boston office of the Flying Ivories Dueling Pianos, an entertainment company based in New York City.
Davina Yanetty has been described as a “music Swiss Army knife.” She began performing when she was five, playing instruments including bass, drums, ukulele, and of course, the piano. She has toured the United States, Europe, and worked on Norwegian Cruise Lines.
The beneficiary of the event, FOLH, is a non-profit organization that supports the Londonderry hockey programs at the varsity, junior varsity, and middle school levels.
