Car enthusiasts will enjoy an upcoming gathering in Londonderry, which is returning for its 30th year.
Nor’eastern Pontiac-GMC-Oakland Club and the Rotary Club of Londonderry have joined forces to present the 30th Annual Classic Car Show. Classic cars of all makes and models are welcome, but unfortunately, motorcycles are not part of this event.
The day includes door prizes, a 50/50 raffle, food vendors, and live entertainment courtesy of a DJ. A 50/50 raffle means that half the prize goes to the winner and the other half to the event organizers, which will use them to support their programs that serve the community.
The show schedule begins with registration at 9.00 am, and public viewing begins at 10.00 am, followed by an awards presentation at 2.00 pm. The venue is Londonderry Square at 50 Nashua Road. Organizers of the event warn people considering attending to be on the lookout for spam, as they are not taking any pre-registrations. Organizers can also use poster printing to create publicity for shows like this.
The car show is scheduled for September 20 with a rain date of September 27. The fee to enter a vehicle is $20, while tickets for spectators are $3 for adults and $7 for families. Children under 12 will be admitted without charge. Interested parties should note that this is a new date, as most car shows in the past were held in May.
