Summer sounds sweet in Londonderry

Londonderry will soon enjoy country, R&B, house and more thanks to a wide variety of performers.

The Londonderry Arts Council produces free events to help people appreciate the arts and give young artists the opportunity to perform in public and connect with the community. When they plan outdoor events like this, organizers might work with banner printing to create suitable decorations.

The events begin with an appearance by Cool Cool Cool, who blend R&B, house music, and funk into something special. The group features horns, synths, and a second-to-none rhythm section.

The Bruce Marshall Group is coming back to Londonderry for the twelfth time. Their country Blues, R&B, Blues, and southern boogie are a treat for listeners.

Steve Blunt and Friends – COTC for Kids provides a tuneful, age-appropriate performance for youngsters. Blunt performs regularly at libraries and schools.

The Brian Maes Band is back for the tenth year in a row. The acclaimed artists have collaborated with Peter Wolf and no less a powerhouse than Aerosmith.

Chicago Total Access is a ten-piece band that honors the Windy City’s great musical legacy, playing music made famous by Chicago artists.

The Delta Generators mix the traditions of rock, Americana, R&B, Roots, and Blues into their own signature sound, but are celebrated for their Blues work.

Cool Cool Cool performs July 2, the Bruce Marshall Group on July 9, Steve Blunt on July 12, the Brian Maes Band on July 16, Chicago Total Access on July 23, and the Delta Generators on July 30.
