An event is now on the schedule in Londonderry that will raise money for a fantastic cause.

BlueLion LLC is the host of an upcoming cornhole tournament, run by Skull It Cornhole, on behalf of Make-A-Wish New Hampshire. The present campaign is called “Rafting for Wishes” and will raise money for children in the state who are facing life-threatening conditions. The Make-a-Wish Foundation was begun in Phoenix, Arizona, in 1980. A non-profit organization, its mission is to fulfill the wishes of children from 2 ½ to 18 years who are facing critical illnesses.

This is a Round Robin tournament, which means that each team will play every other team. The team that wins the most matches will win the tournament. This is different from an elimination tournament, where teams are eliminated when they lose. In addition, there will be several raffles, including a 50/50 raffle. In a raffle like this, half the money collected goes to the person holding the winning ticket while the rest of the prize goes to the organizer—in this case, BlueLion.

The tournament is set for May 14 at the Game Changer Sports Bar and Grill on Orchard View Drive in Londonderry. Registration starts at 11.00, and the first bag tossing is set for 12.00 pm. Organizers of this type of event can enhance the experience for attendees by using flyer printing to create scorecards listing the participating teams.
