Londonderry offers Concerts on the Common

Concerts in Londonderry have kept residents entertained all summer, and continue in August.

The Londonderry Arts Council has organized its Concerts on the Common, and is inviting everyone to enjoy performances by Martin and Kelly, and Studio Two Beatles Tribute Band.

Martin and Kelly are Jilly Martin and Ryan Brooks, and are stars of the crossover country music genre. Based in New England, the duo has performed throughout the area. Their original music is widely acclaimed and has won them new fans at every performance. They are talented songwriters and highly capable musicians, plus their solid vocal techniques make their concerts something special. They have appeared with stars such as Alison Krauss, Willie Nelson, and more.

Studio Two is a tribute band for the Beatles. They concentrate on the band’s early music, playing songs fans enjoyed watching the Fab Four play live. The band comprises graduates of the Berklee College of Music, as well as long-time Beatles fans, who first met in Milford, New Hampshire. They are professional musicians who recreate a Beatles’ concert, duplicating their appearance, the same instruments, and indulging in the same onstage repartee.

Martin & Kelly will perform on August 7, and Studio Two appears on August 14. The concerts take place outdoors but will move to the high school cafeteria in bad weather. Organizers of events of this type will often contact printers who have poster printing techniques available to create advertising.
