Fundraising for youth baseball in Londonderry

A local brewery is the place to be to help raise funds for a Londonderry team.

Pipe Dream Brewing is offering pizza and beer in support of the NH Diamond Dawgs’ road trip to Cooperstown. The Dawgs are the 12U youth baseball team from Londonderry.

Team supporters explain about the Dawgs and why they are fundraising at Pipe Dream. The NH Diamond Dawgs are the 2022 Town of Londonderry Cooperstown Baseball team. Aged 11 and 12, the boys have been playing for years, often starting as young as five. They started by learning the basics of baseball, then grew to adolescence, all while falling in love with baseball. Learning one of the most popular sports in the country also taught them life skills such as teamwork, strong work ethics, and consistency.

Their dedication and hard work earned them an invitation to play in Cooperstown later this year. However, raising funds for the trip has been challenging, since COVID has made it difficult to raise funds via traditional means, hence the event at Pipe Dream. Events like this can benefit if organizers use flyer printing to create announcements about them.

The fundraiser is April 21, from 4:30 pm until 8:00 pm, at Pipe Dream Brewing on Harvey Road. Pipe Dream will donate $1 to the team for each sale of pizza and a pint. Raffle baskets and prizes are also on the schedule.
