Lincoln’s Pinnacle Bank Arena is hosting a concert by country legend Chris Stapleton this fall.

With more than a decade in the country music scene under his belt, Stapleton has made a name for himself like no other artist in his peer group.

The winner of dozens of musical awards over the years, Stapleton holds the distinction of creating a record-breaking best-selling song. His single “Tennessee Whiskey” is now the first-ever country song to become certified Double Diamond with the RIAA, selling over 20 million units, a milestone he reached earlier this year.

Last year, Stapleton hit a double-whammy on the awards circuit, picking up the Best Country Solo Performance Grammy Award for “It Takes a Woman,” his 12th win overall. Later that same year, Stapleton won the ACM Award for Male Artist of the Year, his 22nd ACM award.

Stapleton’s newest work, Higher, is his fifth studio album.

The singer-songwriter’s stop in Lincoln is part of his newly extended All American Road Show tour, which announced the addition of 20 cities earlier this year. The tour will close out with back-to-back performances in Kansas City, Missouri, in mid-October.
