Art exhibition to debut in Lincoln gallery

The Clements Noyes Art Gallery in Lincoln will hold a special opening event where people can meet with several local artists.

Those interested in seeing a new exhibit at the Clements Noyes Art Gallery can attend the First Friday opening of A Flicker from the Heart. The exhibit will feature a collection of pieces made by local artists like Susan Woodford, Cole Fast, and Lindsey Webber. The curator for the art collection is Lynette Fast, an artist and instructor who creates many kinds of jewelry, including earrings, necklaces, and rings. Fast has been selling jewelry online for over 15 years.

Attendees at the opening can enjoy a live performance by High Street Irish, a group of musicians from Lincoln known for their traditional Celtic tunes. There will also be baked goods at the event made by The Rabbit Hole Bakery. Businesses that attend similar art openings to this can use banner printing to make Signs that help their stalls stand out to event-goers.

The opening will be on Friday, April 3rd from 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm. There is no price for guests to attend the art opening, and registration won’t be required for entry. Those who want to view the exhibit can visit the Clements Noyes Art Gallery from April 1st to April 24th. The gallery can be visited from Tuesday to Saturday.
