Lincoln zoo to hold holiday light show

The Lincoln Children's Zoo will transform into a festival lights display in November and December.

Zoo Lights is a seasonal event where guests can explore the Lincoln Children's Zoo after it has been transformed into a large display of Christmas lights and themed attractions. There will be multiple light shows set to holiday music at the zoo, and visitors can order refreshments from the s'mores and hot cocoa station. Many kinds of decorations can be seen during the event, including light tunnels, hanging vine lights, and lit silhouettes of animals. Families may even ride the zoo's holiday train.

The Lincoln Children's Zoo is an attraction that was created in 1965 by Arnott Folsom. The zoo is home to several animals, such as crocodiles, bobcats, camels, and foxes. Many events have been held at the attraction, like Boo at the Zoo and Brews at the Zoo. People can become supporters of the zoo by paying for yearly memberships. Family membership packages cost $145 and include unlimited zoo admission for one or two adults and their children.

The Zoo Lights experience will be held from November 21st to December 30th. The attraction will stay open from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm. Admission to the light show will cost $16.95 per person. There will also be VIP tickets for $25.95. Local attractions that organize holiday experiences like this may use poster printing services to share details about their events with the community.
