Lincoln to host winter festival

Bierhaus Maisschäler in Lincoln will organize a community event in February with live entertainment.

The Lincoln BockFest is an event where people are invited to enjoy live music, German food, and special beverages in a family-friendly setting. The festival will include several games where guests can compete for prizes, such as Hammerschlagen and Stein Stamina. The food offered at the event will include brats and pretzels. The staff at Bierhaus Maisschäler will create special drink blends for the festival with flavors such as caramel and marshmallow.

The musical guest for the winter festival will be The Barry Boyce Band, a group based in Yutan, Nebraska. The band formed in 1989 and is led by Barry Boyce, the group’s vocalist and piano accordion player. The performers have held concerts in several states, including Wisconsin, Ohio, and Texas. Many CDs have been released by the group that feature songs such as Love Of The Homeland Waltz, Have I Told You Lately, and Here Comes The Bride Polka.

The winter fest will be on February 21st at 11:00 am. General admission to the party will cost $10 per adult, which will come with one drink token. Those ages 11-20 can pay $5 to enter the event. VIP admission to BockFest will cost $75. Companies that hold seasonal parties like this can use flyer printing to share details about their celebrations with more people.
