Nebraska’s Pinewood Bowl Theater will welcome a concert featuring both Kansas and 38 Special this June.
It’s one of seven concerts the classic rock bands are co-headlining together this year, with other stops including Arkansas, Alabama, Indiana, and Kentucky.
Debuting in 1974, Kansas has sold more than 30 million albums around the globe. Known for their hits “Carry on Wayward Son” and “Dust in the Wind,” which have each gotten millions of plays over the radio, continuing to top the charts on classic rock stations to this day.
Steve Walsh serves as both Kansas’ lead singer and a keyboardist. He said the band members being advanced in age has not slowed them down one bit, as they continue to tour and even write new material while on the road.
1974 was also a key year for 38 Special, as that is when the band was established. With more than 15 albums to their name, 38 Special’s signature southern rock sound is prominent throughout their many hits like “Second Chance,” “Back Where You Belong,” and “Hold on Loosely.” Their latest album, Milestone, was released in late 2025.
Rock concerts like this may choose to use flyer printing to create Signs for vendors and merch tables.
38 Special and Kansas are playing on June 20 at 6 pm at the Pinewood Bowl Theater at 400 Pinnacle Arena Dr in Lincoln.
