The Sandhills Global Event Center in Lincoln will host a two-day festival for pop culture fans in November.
The Lincoln Nerd Fest is an event where people can participate in gaming competitions and browse vendors with art and collectables. This year will feature businesses such as Kick Back Gaming, Mana Games, and Comic Art’s Collectables. There will also be artists at the event like Melting Point Creations and Hunter’s 3D Printing Studio. Stores that attend similar pop culture conventions may use banner printing services to make memorable decorations for their stalls.
There will also be several free and family-friendly activities for guests to enjoy during the expo. A cosplay parade will be held in the venue where participants can win prizes and participate in a raffle. Children can play Pokémon-themed games like the Velcro Pokeball Toss Challenge and the Pokestop Vendor Challenge. Attendees may take photos with cosplayers from the 501st Legion, and there will be a life-size build area where people can make structures with themed Boxes.
The convention will be on Saturday, November 15th from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm and Sunday, November 16th from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Tickets will cost $5 per adult, and children 12 and under can enter for free. There will be a Magic: The Gathering tourney that guests can join for $70. People can also pay $35 to enter a Lorcana tournament.
