Fashionistas and Wilmington residents who want to support sustainable initiatives will want to add an event to their Calendars, as a fashion show is coming to town.
The 5th Annual Summer Solstice Sustainability Fashion Show will be showing off the latest designs and sharing sustainable fabrics in around a month’s time. The show will feature the work of local designers while promoting a fun, inclusive, and eco-friendly environment.
The pieces featured in the fashion show have all been created using upcycled materials and ethically sourced fabrics to help limit waste and support the environment. Lily Nicole, a Wilmington resident, is organizing the show to raise awareness among fashion lovers of consumer responsibility for conservation. Banner printing is a superb way to promote such events to passersby while providing a memorable welcome for attendees.
The organizers are also looking for additional sponsors for the yearly fashion event, with sponsors receiving special covered seating arrangements and VIP packages offering a complimentary non-alcoholic beverage. Sponsorships can be purchased in place of tickets, with those packages granting admission to the event.
The sustainable fashion show will be held on Sunday, June 22 at the New Hanover County Arboretum in Wilmington. The doors will open at 5:30 PM, and the show ends at 8:00 PM. General admission tickets are $28.52 per person online.
