A dog show combining the unique elements of action stunts and comedy is coming to Clinton’s Sampson CenterStage this April.
Puppy Pals Live is a family-friendly, humorous take on the animal spectacle. Intended for dog lovers, the performers are mostly rescue animals, trading in their shelter blues for showbiz glam.
Using specialized training, the dogs perform stunts in unusual and daring acts, which may include jumping over rods and hoops, doing backflips, running on balls, climbing up and jumping off ladders, and riding scooters and toy cars.
Puppy Pals Live has been featured on the TV show America’s Got Talent. As envisioned by creator and CEO Wesley Williams, the show is based on his childhood passion and love of animals. Having learned the skill of unicycling at an early age, Williams eventually combined his knowhow of carnival showmanship with his interest in animals to make Puppy Pals Live a reality.
After its stop in Clinton, the show will be performing in Baltimore, Maryland; Manassas, Virginia; Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; Port Huron, Michigan; Geneva, New York; and Red Wing, Minnesota. Animal shows like this may choose to use brochure printing for breed lists, audience programs, and merchandise vendor lists.
Puppy Pals Live is happening on Friday, April 17 at 6:30 pm at the Sampson CenterStage at 414 Warsaw Road in Clinton.
