The art and craft festival Springfest will celebrate 37 years when the event returns to Billings next month.
Hosted by the Moss Mansion Historic House Museum, the upcoming festival will be presented on the grounds of the elegant 1903 home, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Partial proceeds from the event will go toward museum projects and operations. Visitors to Springfest can also buy tickets for self-guided tours of the mansion.
On the great lawn, more than 50 juried artists will have art and unique handmade crafts for sale, including leather goods, jewelry, textiles, paintings, pottery, and photography.
The day will kick off with a pancake breakfast, after which shoppers can begin to explore the many treasures and enjoy live music at three onsite stages. There will also be a children’s area where youngsters can take part in games and face painting, and enjoy treats such as cotton candy and sno-cones.
For the older crowd, there will be adult beverages and food selections available throughout the day. Vendors who rent space at outdoor events such as this often use printing services to create their advertising materials.
Springfest will be held on Saturday, June 6 at the Moss Mansion, 914 Division Street in Billings. Breakfast will start at 8:30 am with crafts, art, and other vendors open from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Admission is free.
