Charity golf tournament comes to Billings

Golf lovers in Billings can have fun while raising much-needed funds for local schools when a charity fundraiser comes to town next month.

The Marsh McLennan Agency is sponsoring the Back to School Golf Tournament in mid-September, with proceeds going to benefit Head Start, Inc., a nonprofit centered on early childhood education.

The tournament will take place at Lake Hills Golf Club and is an 18-hole, four-person scramble. Players will compete for first and second place prizes, and the tourney will also feature a putting contest and an on-course Bingo activity. Flag prizes are available on every hole, and there is also a $10,000 hole-in-one prize. Proceeds will go to benefit over 200 children and families in the area and help provide essential educational materials and supplies for young learners. Poster printing and other Graphic Design Services are commonly used to promote this kind of event.

Billings Head Start helps provide comprehensive services for children and families. Its work focuses on ensuring all children are well prepared to enter elementary school.

The Back to School Golf Tournament will be on Friday, September 12. Check-in starts at 11:00 AM, and the contest begins with a shotgun start at 1:00 PM. The golf club is located at 1930 Clubhouse Way in Billings. The team entry fee is $600, which includes green fees, a cart, range balls, and dinner. Interested parties may call 406-245-7233 for more information.
