Next month’s 35th annual Strawberry Festival will mark the start of summer in Billings.
Presented by the Downtown Billings Business Improvement District (BID) and Visit Billings, the long-running event is the city’s biggest vendor street festival, and has been known to attract visitors from across the region in previous years.
More than 120 merchants will be set up along the downtown streets and under Skypoint, the large tent-like structure that is a prominent feature in the center of the city.
It is made up of five sails, four of which can move to provide sun or shade, or shelter the area in the event of rain. The structure stands 72 feet at its highest point. Skypoint was built in 2002 as part of Billings' downtown revitalization.
Visitors to the festival can expect to find merchants of all kinds, artisans, a range of international food trucks and the sounds of live street musicians. There will be many strawberry-themed products, food creations, and other items related to the popular fruit.
Businesses that participate in large festivals such as this often use flyer printing to provide shoppers with information about their products and services.
The Strawberry Festival will be held on Saturday, July 11 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at 2nd Avenue North and North Broadway in Billings. The event is free to attend.
