Important trade show returns to Billings

A regional trade show, billed as a premier event linking retail buyers and wholesalers, is returning to Billings in late January.

The Billings Market Association has announced the return of Yellowstone Expo, which the group has dubbed the “Best Wholesale in the West.” The three-day trade show is limited to industry professionals and is not open to the public. Organizers are expecting over 125 exhibitors and over 1500 attendees. Business Cards and brochure printing are often useful at trade shows.

The Billings Market Association was formed in 1942 and has since served the area for 83 years. It sponsors biannual exhibitions to introduce qualified retail buyers to representatives of wholesale companies. Wholesalers’ products vary from handcrafted artworks to well-known international clothing labels. The group is unique in that membership is open to individuals, whose companies may then be listed in its Buyer’s Guide.

The Yellowstone Expo will be held Friday, January 30, through Sunday, February 1. The event’s daily hours are 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Friday and Saturday, with the final day spanning from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The venue is the Billings Hotel & Convention Center, located at 1223 Mullowney Lane. Membership in the Billings Market Association is required for exhibition. According to the group’s website, annual membership dues are $195. Booth space is available with a range of offerings.

There is no registration fee to attend as a buyer. Those interested in doing so may apply on the organization’s website.
