Year-ending rodeo in Billings to support charity

Top rough stock riders will gather next month in Billings for the last Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association (PRCA) rodeo of 2026. Rough stock rodeo events include bronc riding, bull riding and steer riding.

For more than three decades, the PRCA has teamed up with the Chase Hawks Community Crisis Fund to present the Annual Chase Hawks Rough Stock Weekend.

The fund, named for a six-year-old Montana cowboy who lost his life in an accident, supports local families facing tragic circumstances. Proceeds from the rodeo and other events have made it possible for the non-profit group to donate more than 1 million dollars to families facing crisis situations.

The weekend will kick off with a Friday night Cowboy Gatherin’ Dinner & Dance at the Billings Hotel and Convention Center where fans can enjoy a meal and meet the competitors.

The following day there will be a cowboy lunch and the stock draw where the best bucking bulls and horses will be matched with top rodeo talent.

A special hospitality room will open before the rodeo begins, hosting VIP Rodeo Weekend ticket holders and event sponsors. Businesses that contribute to fundraising sports events such as this often use banner printing as part of their venue advertising.

The PRCA Annual Chase Hawks Rough Stock Weekend will be held December 18 and 19, 2026 in Billings. The rodeo will begin at 7 pm on December 19, at the Metra Park/ First Interstate Arena.
