Billings sponsors art-centric event
Art lovers in Billings can look forward to an evening out as local merchants and city officials welcome locals to a variety of art-centric activities.
The 2025 First Friday Holiday Stroll and ArtWalk is scheduled for early December. This is the 24th such event in town and will feature many activities of interest to art lovers. Downtown shop owners will open their doors to foot traffic into the evening, giving holiday revelers extended shopping hours, holiday drinks and food, and good cheer.
Santa Claus will also be available for free photos with kids, with carolers and other live musical performances as well. Angry Hank’s Microbrewery is offering a complimentary beer to their visitors. White Heating and Air Conditioning is the official sponsor of the event, with additional help from several local radio stations and the Northern Hotel.
Nearly 40 art galleries and downtown merchants will be accessible to attendees, and a Stroll Shuttle will also be available to assist with transportation. Jessica Brophy, a Montana artist known for her pet portraits, will be a featured artist this year, alongside many other guest artisans. Merchants may consider poster printing or other services from print shops to highlight their businesses.
