Touch-a-truck event on offer for Columbia

For those who find heavy equipment and first responder vehicles to be fascinating, an activity coming up in Columbia will give them a chance to explore these pieces of equipment for themselves.

The Target parking lot at Columbia Mall will be filled with big rigs and other vehicles that will be rolling in for 'Tons of Trucks', and these will range from small cars all the way up to heavy equipment. The public can view them from a distance or up close, and while they do, they can learn more about when and how they are used.

Anyone who is feeling especially adventurous will be welcome to climb on, and even in, the parked cars and trucks, and they can even honk the horns if they wish.

This sort of event can really attract a crowd, and a banner printing company can help to welcome them all by preparing a customized banner for the occasion. There are many styles to choose from, including ones that can be used over and over.

This activity will take place rain or shine, and it will be open to the public from 4:00 pm from 7:00 pm on May 1. The organizers remarked that they wished to express their thanks to the community partners and sponsors who have chosen to support this function, and more information can be found on the city of
