A Columbia activity that has become a signature fundraiser for The Missouri Symphony will once again treat its guests to an evening of sipping and celebrating.
The group’s Sips for the Symphony Cocktail Party will be on offer at Orr Street Studios. All proceeds will be used by the Symphony to help make orchestral music more accessible in the state.
Guests will be enjoying an assortment of signature cocktails and noshing on light bites and sweet treats, while celebrity bartenders will add a touch of fun to the occasion. A whiskey pull is in the works, and its exclusive auction and raffle draws will bring even more excitement, with a designer purse up for grabs. There will be some surprise elements too.
Live entertainment will be supplied by The Five Pastelitos. The suggested dress is cocktail attire, and tickets start at $75 each.
The presenting sponsor for the function is Boone Health and Prost Builders, while Columbia College and Restoration Eyecare have signed on as supporting sponsors. Event organizers can order custom designed certificates of thanks from Stationery printers to present to its sponsors to show appreciation for their support.
This evening of sipping and socializing in support of the Missouri Symphony's effort to bring music to all will open at 7:00 pm on Thursday, October 15. Tickets may be reserved through the Symphony’s website.
