Lewy Body Dementia impacts individuals and their families alike, but a Columbia fundraiser will be raising money for a charity focused on this disease with an activity – outdoors and hopefully on a fine summer’s day.
Area golfers will be teeing off in the Larry Gross Lewy Body Dementia Awareness Charity Golf Tournament, and the organizers are pleased to be able to once again bring it to the community. This will be its fifth year, and both new and experienced golfers are welcome to join the fun.
The participants will be playing through 18 holes, and can try their luck in the on-course contests. There will be special awards presented, and a raffle is in the works as well. The play will follow a four-person scramble format, and lunch, post-tourney cocktails, and more perks are included in the registration fee. Tickets start at $250.
A sports-themed fundraiser may call for specialized Promotional Products to use as swag and a printer that supplies in-house graphic design options will have a variety to choose from. They can also craft unique Corporate Gifts to offer as draw pries and trophies.
The 5th Annual Larry Gross Lewy Body Dementia Awareness Charity Golf Tournament will take to the greens at Country Club of Missouri on Monday, June 1. The fun will tee off at 11:00 am.
