Crows are highly intelligent, social birds, and these members of the Corvid family have provided inspiration for an activity that will be on offer at a local venue.
The Columbia Public Library has organized a “caw-some” experience for teens and adults, and it will take place during an evening in late August. It has been dubbed the Crow Party, and it will offer hands-on fun.
The participants in the gathering will be trading shiny trinkets, and to fully enter the spirit of the occasion, dressing all in black is recommended. Everyone can try their hand at making their own backpack charms using the materials provided, and they can bring along their own tiny treasures to swap if they wish. The session has a run time of one and a half hours, and while advance registration is not required, the venue for the function can only accommodate a limited number of attendees. No fee is being charged to join the fun.
Libraries are often hubs for community gatherings, bringing neighbors together to learn, enjoy one another’s company and have fun. A flyer printing company can help spread the word about an event by preparing everything from activity guides to distribute to local households to Flyers suitable for posting in prominent public locations.
The Columbia Public Library located at 100 W Broadway will kick off its Crow Party at 6:00 pm on August 31st. Its Patch listing provides more details and a link to the Library’s website.
