Columbia sets dates for summer sidewalk sale

Columbia will be marking the “dog days” of summer with an activity that will combine strolling and shopping with finding a new furry friend to add to the family.

The District’s Dog Days Sidewalk Sale will give its businesses a chance to shine. Free parking can be accessed all weekend long as well as after 5:00 pm, and many retailers have already signed on.

The establishments that have chosen to participate in the program will have a variety of products and services on offer at a deep discount, and many of the specials will be the lowest price for this year. The decoration and chalk art contests will be back so the public can choose their favorite entry, and there will be eateries to investigate as well. Several local rescue and rehoming groups will have companion animals at various businesses during the weekend, and everyone can learn more about adding them to their family.

When preparing for a special sales event, many businesses turn first to a local brochure printing company. It will be happy to supply an assortment of ideas for both contemporary and outside the box Promotional Products.

The District in Columbia will be hosting this summer shopping celebration from July 30th to August 2nd. More information about how to participate in the various contests and other details are available on the Visit Columbia website.
