Columbia birders looking for connection may want to be part of an activity that will bring together residents who appreciate their fine feathered friends.
Bur Oak Brewing Co. is set to welcome a Winter Weeknight Social organized by the Columbia Audubon Society. Everyone who loves birds and birding is welcome to be part of the fun, and while its date has been set, it may need to be changed in case of bad weather.
The attendees will be able to meet others who also enjoy spotting and observing the avian set, and they can share their own tips , secret birding locations and best practices. They can let loose about their “lifers”, chat about chickadees, reminisce about robins and discuss ducks, and everyone can purchase a glass of craft beer or other beverage to sip on while they mix and mingle. The venue is family friendly, and food may be ordered on site.
To help make it easier for newbies to the organization’s socials to find the group, they are advised to look for bird themed table decorations. A flyer printing company can be a helpful partner in spreading the word about an upcoming gathering or other activity.
Bur Oak Brewing Co. will be providing space for this gathering of Columbia’s bird lovers on January 13th. It will begin at 5:00 pm, and is scheduled to draw to a close at 6:30 pm.
